To our valued stockholders and friends,

Thank you again for your patience and diligence as we work together to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. In our efforts to continue to be responsible rural community members, additional steps and safety protocols are being initiated to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health and well-being of our stockholders and employees.

Temporary Closure of Lobbies and Outpost Offices

First and foremost, we continue to have ready access to financial markets and we will remain open for business so we may meet your daily financial needs. Beginning Tuesday, November 17, our lobbies were closed to walk-in traffic and our loan officers will not be visiting outpost offices until further notice. High Plains remains committed to serving and supporting you and will meet with stockholders by appointment. As time permits, please call ahead to schedule an appointment. We are following Kansas Department of Health and Environment guidelines by utilizing a simple questionnaire to insure all parties have avoided areas of high risk or have not experienced COVID-19 symptoms prior to these appointments.

We anticipate returning to “normal operations” as soon as local pandemic levels subside.

Payment Relief Program – December 31 Deadline Approaching

Due to economic impacts caused by COVID-19 and prolonged stress in the Ag Economy, High Plains Farm Credit developed one-time payment relief programs for qualifying customers. Additionally, the program is designed to give our stockholders options to retain working capital in these challenging times. Farm Credit regulations only allow us to easily process these applications through December 31, 2020. Please apply prior to December 31 if you would like assistance. More information about the payment relief program and your options are available on our website in the Products & Services section.

As always, our highest priorities are the health and safety of our stockholders and employees, as well as the rural communities we serve. Please contact your local branch office if you have any questions or need additional assistance.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.
