Why did you choose to work at HPFC?

Marketing was quickly becoming less and less of a priority in my current position and I wanted a job that solely focused on everything Marketing and Public Relations. HPFC had a brand new position within their company for a Marketing Director. After finding out what the position entailed, I knew it was the right move for me. They have provided me the resources (and then some) to set the department up for success both now and in the future.

What is the best part about working at HPFC?

The culture that this organization has is unprecedented in today’s workplace. Staff are always willing to help each other out for the betterment of our stockholders and the association.

What is your favorite part of your job?

The way businesses advertise is ever-changing in today’s world. I enjoy the challenges that presents but also the opportunities we have to communicate to farmers and ranchers that our products, services, and our people can help their operation be successful. I also enjoy helping put the Customer Appreciation Events together for our valued stockholders.

What is your business philosophy?

A quote from Steve Jobs sums it up nicely. He said, “Great things in business are never done by one person. They’re done by a team of people.” Teamwork is essential for any business to thrive, and we have a plethora of that here at HPFC.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

I have three kids all under the age of eight that occupy most of my time outside of the office. From playing baseball, soccer, and basketball with them to going to the park, zoo, or swimming, I just try to enjoy every moment because there is no better feeling in the world than being a Dad.
