Why did you choose to work at HPFC?
It provides an opportunity to learn and grow within a wonderful company. It gives me the opportunity to be a part of an organization that genuinely cares about the community, going above and beyond to provide the best service to the farmers and ranchers of rural Kansas. Having grown up on a small farm in rural Ness County, working at HPFC gives me a chance to learn and understand the “business” side of running a farm operation. There is LOTS to learn.
What is the best part about working at HPFC?
Definitely the people! It is such an amazing group, with so much knowledge and a willingness to share that knowledge with others. Every day is different, providing a new opportunity to grow, learn, and be a part of something wonderful, as we help our borrowers meet their goals along their journey.
What is your favorite part of your job?
The opportunity to learn something new every day. There is a new chance every day to acquire a new skill and to be better than you were the day before.
What is your business philosophy?
Stay positive! Every day is an opportunity to shine! There are no obstacles, only opportunities.
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
I love to spend time with my family and grandbabies, try new recipes, read and work on home projects.
