Kelly Forell began her career with High Plains as Chief Financial Officer in December 2018. Prior to joining the Farm Credit Association, she spent over 25 years in public accounting and ag consulting including having owned her own accounting firm.  Kelly is a Certified Public Accountant with a Master’s degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK and a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University.  Kelly appreciates the work ethic of rural farmers/ranchers and the impact they have on the economics of rural America.

Kelly grew up in Victoria, KS and has spent most of her adult life in rural northwest Oklahoma.  Kelly is a professional barrel racer and supports their family ventures in agriculture and rental real estate.  Kelly and her husband Guy, originally from Phillipsburg, KS, have three adult children Cody, Tyler, and Bailey.
