Why did you choose to work at HPFC?
I grew up ranching and showing cattle and was very active in 4-H. I knew I wanted to get my college degree in agriculture. I ended up graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness with a minor in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University. I knew I wanted to find a job that fit what I have learned over the years and what I also learned in college. High Plains Farm Credit fit that description and I knew it was the job for me!
What is the best part about working at HPFC?
I think the best part of working at High Plains Farm Credit is interacting with all the farmers and ranchers. They know a lot about their profession and have such a drive and a passion for what they do that I am glad they share their stories and knowledge with me. They make the day to day work upbeat and entertaining.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is getting to help and interact with farmers and ranchers on a day to day basis.
What is your business philosophy?
I think it is important to put your full effort in all you do. At the end of the day, you should leave work knowing you did the best job you could do and that you put all your effort into work that day.
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
When not at work, I spend time with family and help out on my family’s ranch.
