A key element of High Plains Farm Credit’s values is providing support for the rural communities we call home. From Kansas FFA and 4-H to local food pantries and Kids Ag Day, our team is committed to serving the organizations that make a difference.
Our Mission Includes Supporting Rural America
Serving as a mission-based lender means that we care about more than the bottom line. In fact, High Plains Farm Credit is committed to being a good and caring community neighbor. We are proud to support the rural communities where we live and work alongside our customers.
Long-established cooperative principles allow us the privilege to be actively engaged in programs and industries that are important to our customers. Our areas of support include schools, agricultural organizations, county fairs, and many other clubs that keep our communities strong and vibrant.
As the years go by, the list of involvement continues to grow. We encourage organizations to reach out for consideration of support for their efforts!

We’re More Than Agricultural Loans
While our vision is to be the preferred source of agricultural financing, we understand that serving the best people in the world, farmers and ranchers, is not our only responsibility. Everyone must chip in to help keep a rural community working.
Many of our employees serve as 4-H leaders, volunteers, church leaders, coaches, and school board members.

Sponsoring Agricultural Events and Scholarships
While supporting many organizations that share our love for agriculture is important to us, we also sponsor conferences and different events that our producers would benefit from attending.
Women Grow the Farm Conference
This event provides a supportive setting in which women can develop the skills, resources, and knowledge needed for success in a competitive agricultural environment.
High Plains Farm Credit will reimburse the registration fee to those customers that attend… so be sure to inform us if you go!

Giving Back Program
One of the best times to make a positive impact in someone’s life is during the Christmas season. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the importance of giving back to the people in our communities.
Each year, our offices choose local charities to assist through volunteer time and/or by donation. We call it our Giving Back Program.
We look forward to continuing this tradition to extend our support during the holiday season!
