Each year, High Plains Farm Credit compiles a calendar of photos highlighting agriculture, life on the farm, and rural living in general. Customer-stockholders can submit pictures for the chance to win a $100 quarterly prize and to be featured in the next year’s calendar.

Calling All Customer-Photographers

Living and working in rural America…. It doesn’t get much better than that. From the summer lightning shows and rain clouds, to harvest scenes of combines rolling through the field, agriculture provides some of the most scenic photo opportunities.

That’s why we started our company calendar: to give our customers an opportunity to showcase their operations. We want YOUR photos for our upcoming 2026 High Plains Farm Credit Calendar Photo Contest!

Contest Requirements

The contest is open to High Plains Farm Credit customers who are 18 years of age or older and have a valid email address and mailing address.

Entries can feature any part of the rural lifestyle (farm animals, barns, crops, antique farm equipment, sunsets, etc.). Photographers may submit multiple entries.

The file size for each entry should be 1 MB or greater. Be sure your phone is turned to the side (landscape orientation) when capturing these photos. Please attach photos at the largest size when sending via desktop and at the “Actual Size” setting when sending via mobile. 

Entries should also include a photographer name, title, and location. Please submit pictures to Photos@HighPlainsFarmCredit.com.

Submission Deadline is November 6, 2026!

How to Submit Your Photos

Ready to share your photos? The process is simple!

Highlight the natural beauty of our rural region and select your favorite photo(s)! Be sure your phone is turned to the side (landscape orientation) when capturing these photos.

Include with your submission the following information:

  • Photo title
  • Photo description (background information)
  • Photo location
  • Photographer name

Submit digital photos to Photos@HighPlainsFarmCredit.com according to the following specifications:

  • The file size should be 1 MB or greater.
  • When sending via desktop, attach photos at the largest file size.
  • When sending via mobile, attach photos at the “Actual Size” setting.

Calendar Photo Contest Winners

Winners will be featured in the 2027 High Plains Farm Credit Calendar. One grand prize winner will be selected each quarter and will receive $100 cash and photo credit. Additional monthly winners will receive photo credit.

The Calendar Support Continues

It’s hard to believe, but it has been six years since we rolled out our inaugural High Plains Farm Credit Calendar Photo Contest that features our stockholders’ favorite agricultural photos.

The support we received last year was tremendous; more than 60 photos were submitted for consideration! Overall, we’ve received over 300 photos since the contest began in 2020.

We appreciate our stockholders participating in our agricultural photo contest and hope you enjoy YOUR 2026 Calendar! We do keep a few extras on hand, so feel free to contact us and we’ll gladly get one to you… if they’re not all gone!
