Why did you choose to work at HPFC?
Having spent five years with the Farm Credit system, I was looking for a new opportunity that aligned with my background and values. HPFC’s credit analyst role was the perfect fit, combining my expertise with a shared purpose. The entire association has been very welcoming, making my transition smooth and enjoyable. It has been very fulfilling to contribute to HPFC’s mission and be a part of something I believe in.
What is the best part about working at HPFC?
One of the best things about my time at HPFC is the camaraderie among the team. Even though I’m working remotely from 1,400 miles away, the inclusive and appreciative vibe from my team and throughout the association makes me feel connected and valued.
What is your favorite part of your job?
What I really enjoy about my job is getting to contribute to production agriculture. Both my husband and I come from farming families, so we understand how crucial agriculture is for everyone. It’s fulfilling to use my skills in a way that directly benefits the industry.
What is your business philosophy?
My approach to business is all about collaboration and growth. I believe in building a supportive environment where everyone can shine by embracing their skills and strengths. Open communication and a shared commitment to learning are at the core of what I value. It’s about more than personal success, it’s about development within the team.
What do you like to do when you are not at work?
Outside of work, you’ll find me in two modes – sometimes I’m a total homebody, enjoying my time with a good book, cuddling my cats and dogs, and catching up on my favorite TV shows. On the flipside, I’m a bit of a travel and theme park enthusiast, especially living in Florida. Weekends often mean spontaneous trips to Disney World or Universal Studios, and when we’re on vacation, my husband and I love exploring new places, preferably in our RV (which is also our home)!
