Why did you choose to work at HPFC?
The attorney I worked with for over 20 years was retiring. A current employee of HPFC knew I was in the market for a job and HPFC had an opening. She gave me a call, encouraged me to apply, and I did. From the moment I walked in the door for the interview, I loved the environment! Once I heard about the benefits package and overall vision of the company, I knew it was the place for me!
What is the best part about working at HPFC?
I love the family environment the company has created for the employees.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is being able to serve the agricultural community. My husband is a farmer/rancher and I know how hard they work. I appreciate the opportunity to come alongside them and help them through the process.
What is your business philosophy?
A Bible verse is my business philosophy. Colossians 3:23 (NIV): “Whatever you do, work at with all your heart, as if working for the Lord…”
I am grateful for my position at High Plains Farm Credit and strive daily to work with a good attitude, doing the best job I can for my employer and the stockholders we serve.
What do you like to do when you are not at work?
When I am not at work, I love spending time with my family. I have four kids that keep me very busy chasing activities and supporting school activities. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
