Ryan Rewerts, AVP Loan OfficerWhy did you choose to work at HPFC?

The Farm Credit system has always interested me. Previously, I worked for many years in commercial banking. High Plains Farm Credit is the biggest competition for loan customers. The old saying goes: “If you can’t beat them, join them!”

What is the best part about working at HPFC?

The people within the organization and our customers. I like that our association’s purpose is to serve agriculture and its producers.

What is your favorite part of your job?

I enjoy meeting with customers and learning about their operations. I’m also a “numbers” guy, so I enjoy digging into the credit analysis part of lending.

What is your business philosophy?

All lending institutions are competing for the same borrowers. Customer service is one thing that separates HPFC from other institutions. My philosophy is to provide exceptional customer service, with an honest and accurate financial picture to our customers to help them make the best decisions for their operation and their success.

What do you like to do when you are not at work?

I enjoy helping on the family farm, being outdoors, and bow hunting. I also enjoy working on and rebuilding whatever project vehicle I have at the time.
